Action-packed Past …

More from my memoir, Lost and Found in London:

Chris was right.  Looking back at those days was fun – and, very possibly, therapeutic.

I began to rush through my various university academic and social accomplishments.  My first Philosophy 101 essay, praised heartily by my professor; the article I wrote for the university newspaper on the restrictive rules governing student behaviour.  It caused such a stir among school officials!  I think they feared a revolution had begun.  The day I walked 30 kilometres to raise money for charity.  I couldn’t walk that evening, but I could certainly dance – once assisted to the dance floor.  Different muscles, it seemed.

Who knew I’d been so busy and even hard-working?  It’s amazing how little you appreciate about your own action-packed past …
